My son has never been very motivated and I’m worried now that I didn’t push him harder when he was younger. He finished a college program a few years ago, but for a couple years after he didn’t work and lived in our basement. Eventually I convinced him (and helped him) to get a job and find an apartment. It didn’t last though, and less than a year later, he’s told me he’s quit his job and he wants to move back in with us. He’s going to be 26 later this year and I really don’t want to enable his lazy behavior but I can’t leave him homeless. At this point, what can I do to help him best? – Patricia in Waterloo Region
