My wife is pregnant with our 2nd child and is due in June. She has been talking about wanting her sister in the delivery room instead of me and up until last week I thought she was kidding. She’s serious and made that very clear to me. I was not much help at all the first time making jokes in the delivery room and generally being an idiot. It was how I dealt with being nervous. She was VERY angry at the time and I thought she would get over it. She says that her sister will be better equipped to help and that I can stay home to watch our son. I don’t want to miss the birth! What can I do to convince her I will be better this time around? JK in Waterloo
