Ok I know this has been in the news lately and with the extreme heat we have had this summer, I feel this needs to be addressed.
Aside from the heat…I can’t as a mother fathom leaving my child in the car (even in mild temperatures) for 2 mins to run into the gas station, let alone leaving them in the car, while I go shopping and in 35+ temperatures…ever.
I have been know from time to time to be a little overprotective, but I don’t understand why anyone would take the risk…it’s not worth it.
Take the heat out of it and I know 35 years ago, parents would leave the child in the stroller while they shopped and 30 mins they would come out and baby would still be there snoozing away…but sadly, that is not the world we live in.
Parents, the 30 seconds it takes you to unbuckle your child’s car seat is worth the alternative…every…time.
