How do you politely decline a kiss on the cheek? I have an older gentleman client that comes to my office’s once a week to meet regarding his accounts. I would say he is in his late 70s. He always goes in for a close hug and kiss on my cheek, but a little too close to my mouth. I try and sneak away from it sometimes but it’s difficult to not look rude. Why is it that older men feel they can kiss and hug without asking? I want to say something, but don’t want to make him feel bad. What would you do?
