My husband is great at a lot of things. He’s very handy and can build just about anything, he’s attentive, romantic, he’s a great cook (when he cooks) and always the first one to offer friends and family with help. Everyone loves him and he’s great with people – the classic life of the party. I love him very much, but of late he’s driving me crazy when it comes to the household tasks – paying bills, opening the mail, doing paperwork, answering emails, keeping his phone charged, cleaning, groceries and laundry. I am constantly after him and if I don’t remind him or tell him it won’t get done. In fact, I am the one who has to do it or it won’t happen.
Basically he can’t do anything responsible.
He never was this bad – he did live on his own and I never noticed any issues – but since we’ve been married, that has changed. The plan was to have kids, but I’m not sure I can rely on him to be a responsible parent and help me raise them. What do I do? The responsible adult in Kitchener
