For most kids, Halloween is a dream come true – a day where they can dress up as their favourite character or animal, walk around their neighbourhood and fill up a bag with free candy.
But for kids who have food allergies, Halloween can be a less enjoyable and potentially dangerous time. That’s where the #TealPumpkinProject comes in.
Homeowners who are giving away non-food treats like stickers or pencils are encouraged to place a teal-painted pumpkin outside their house to let those with food allergies know they can get safe treats there.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!
