Last week the Coachella announcement served as the unofficial kick off to music festival season. Today we’ve received another massive announcement thanks to the annual four-day Tennessee music fest Bonnaroo.Going into its 16th year, Bonnaroo 2017 is set to take place from June 8-11 and features quite the impressive line up of artists that will surely keep any music fan dancing through the summer heat.
U2 was the first act announced, confirming they would be performing a set dedicated to the anniversary of their Grammy winning 1987 album Joshua Tree.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lorde, the xx, Major Lazer, Travis Scott, Tove Lo, Margo Price, Future Islands, Flume and more are all going to be hitting the stage at this year’s Bonnaroo. Chance The Rapper is also set to perform, making Bonnaroo his third confirmed festival of the year following last week’s Coachella and Governor’s Ball announcements. The Strumbellas, who will also be performing the Governors Ball earlier in June, Tory Lanez, Crystal Castles and July Talk will also be performing at Bonnaroo.
