I do all the cooking for my family (husband and two kids). Most of the time I’d say I make pretty delicious meals. But as any parents knows, it’s hard to please everyone all the time. In fact, my son is a very particular eater and often won’t willingly eat what I’m serving. I believe in the philosophy that my kids should eat what’s for dinner any particular night or not eat at all. My husband disagrees and my kids have gotten into the habit of asking their dad if they can have something else. When he allows it, we always have the same argument about it. I’ve even caught him making them after dinner peanut butter sandwhiches. I put in a lot of work trying to make healthy meals and it really bothers me when I get complaints and when my husband allows the kids to have whatever else they want. Am I being unreasonable?
