Lately I’ve been unable to stop myself from thinking about my best friend in a relationship way. It’s very complicated – she only dates men from what I know, as well as the fact that she is my friend and I also work with her sometimes when I need to. I know it can never happen because of a multitude of reasons but I don’t want to stop being friends with her because of it.
How do I get over my feelings for her, or how do I broach the subject with her so maybe she can help me move past it if she doesn’t feel it too? Is there a way to make myself not feel like this so I can keep having her in my life and not have it be awkward? Any tips from straight and other LGBTQ people who’ve had this happen would be amazingly helpful. Poor Unfortunate Feels in Kitchener
