A very good friend of mine bought my old car three months ago. It was a great car for me, very reliable and I thought it was in good shape when I sold it to her at a very reasonable price. She says she’s had nothing but problems with it and a few weeks ago told me she ‘knew’ I knew it was a lemon when I sold it to her and wasn’t honest about it. That’s totally false (I had it safetied before she bought it) and I told her that. She obviously doesn’t believe me and hasn’t spoken to me since we discussed it. Now, what I thought was a nice thing to do for my friend has become a major issue between us. Should I offer to buy the car back or pay for repairs or just wait for her to come around? – Auto Traitor in Waterloo
