“Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” has created such an uproar as the lead-in to Pixar‘s “Coco“, that Disney is actually removing it from theaters.
The main complaint with “Olaf” is the running time. When you add in the trailers, “Coco” wasn’t starting until 40 minutes after the announced run time. That’s more than enough time for kids to get antsy, and THEN they have to sit through the movie. Plus, Pixar movies are usually preceded by an original PIXAR short. “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” just struck a lot of people as shameless promotion for another Disney franchise.
There’s a “Frozen 2” in the works, but it won’t hit theaters until November of 2019.
