My office did our Secret Santa exchange the other day. The suggested value was $25. I enjoy picking out a gift for my person, sometimes something “big” worth the whole value, or sometimes some “little” things that I know the person will enjoy.
I received from my Santa a pair of mittens with a hole in the them ($1.25 from the dollar store, tag still attached), and a chocolate bar (I assume also from the dollar store). My Santa has the money, she is just notoriously cheap.
Should I say something? To the Santa coordinator? Should I just say, well I lost that lottery and move on?
