Hey, it’s Carlos. November 25th through December 24th I completed 30 Deeds In 30 Days. I went to a different community organization each day for a month - yes 30 straight days - to raise awareness about community service and volunteerism. My goal was a call to action, to show that not only is it easy to donate your time - even just an hour a week - and that there are many organizations in need of you for volunteer tasks here in Waterloo Region. So why 30 Deeds in 30 Days? It's also my own personal journey to learn more about myself and find volunteer organizations I want to assist. I started thinking about taking on a few organizations, then as my list grew bigger I decided I needed to think bigger.

I kept my day job as host of the Beat Breakfast with Carlos, Sophie and Dave while I went to a new organization each day in Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge. I worked with them in whatever capacity was asked of me, with the goal to prove that you can have a huge impact through volunteering.
