For over 7 years, you have heard Adele as the voice that wakes you up in the morning on 91.5 the Beat, but before she got to that position she has done many other things that have helped her to become the person she is today.
She started her career in radio 13 years ago and has worked as a television personality, hosting a daily talk show on CHCH TV, and a television Director and technical operations person for CTV.
Her career has also taken her around the world as a freelance producer at CNN as well as a producer, editor and voice talent on wildlife documentaries in East Africa Nairobi Kenya.
She has worked as a spokesperson for STIMMA, which has taken her to Peru, where she will be returning in November, El Salvador and most recently Haiti.
When not busy working, Adele spends her time helping in the community with the many charities she works with, such as the Santa for a Seniors Program, the Women Eating Disorder Coalition, Family and Children Services Committee as well as sitting on the advisory board for the Radio and Television Broadcasting program at Conestoga College.
For her heavy involvement in the community as well as around the world, this year Adele was awarded with the Corus Entertainment Humanitarian Award.
At 31 years old, Adele has accomplished more and seen more in her short time as a Radio Broadcaster than many people hope to see or do in a lifetime, and after finding herself in a “sticky situation” recently with her for AM 640 reporting at the G20 protests in Toronto, this young, energetic woman, doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, anytime soon.
