91.5 THE BEAT Contest Rules
1. The chances of winning depend on the total number of entrants who participate in the contest / call in to win for the contest.
2. After winning a prize, the winning individual and anyone within the same household and/or immediate family (father, mother, son/brother, sister/daughter) is not eligible to win any prize for 30 days from the date the prize was won.
3. The Contest is open to residents of Ontario, who are 18 years of age or older (unless stated otherwise) but excluding employees, directors and officers of CKBTFM, Corus Entertainment Inc. (“Corus”), any affiliate (as defined in the Canada Business Corporations Act) of CKBTFM or Corus (the “Affiliates”), employees, directors and officers of THE SPONOSRS (the “Sponsor(s)”), employees, directors and officers of their respective advertising and promotional agencies, as well as family members of any of the foregoing.
4. All decisions of the judges are final.
5. Before being awarded the Grand Prize the Grand Prize winner must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited skill-testing mathematical question.
6. All entries become property of 91.5 THE BEAT - selected entrants who will be notified by e-mail or telephone. Entrants, by entering contests, consent to the use of their names and/or photo without compensation in any future publicity carried out by 91.5 THE BEAT in association with contests.
7. The sponsors and their agents are not responsible for technical, computer, telephone or production errors and may terminate or withdraw any contest found to contain such errors with without liability and without notice at their sole discretion.
8. Prizes may not be transferred, assigned or redeemed for cash.
9. The sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equivalent kind and value.
10. The sponsors bear no responsibility for any expenses, personal injury, damage, pain or suffering whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with winning or using the prize or in any way taking part in a 91.5 THE BEAT contest.
11. Each winner must claim their prize within thirty (30) days of winning (the “Deadline”). If the Grand Prize winner fails either to claim the Prize or inform CKBTFM of his or her inability to claim the Prize before the Deadline, his or her entry will be forfeited and another eligible entrant will be selected.
12. Rules are subject to change without notice.
13. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws and regulations of Canada and of each province, territory and municipality of Canada, respectively.
