Meet Thea!...
If you saw me at a house party with my friends…I would be the one filling everyone’s drinks and cranking the music…probably 80’s rock, alternative or house…
If you saw me at a house party of people I didn’t know, I would be near the drinks taking it all in…I am often misunderstood…some would say I am or look aloof, but I prefer selective! At 30 years old, I am confident enough to know who I am and who I click with… but at the same time, I am very social…sometimes to the point where I will over-book myself with plans and my friends and family nearly disown me…
If you saw me at the grocery store, I would be in the health food section figuring out healthy snack options, or in the area that has house hold items…I am a sucker for décor… At the same time, I love cooking and those who are close to me, love when I cook!
If I went to see a movie, I would never watch a horror or anything crazy scary (although many have tried!) I think that there are a lot of crazy things to worry about on a daily basis and I don’t want to spend my very limited free time taking in any more negativity!
If you saw me walking my dog, you would probably catch me carrying her at some point!
If I was an American, on November 4 I would vote for Barack Obama…
If I had time to relax, I would go for a drive…it is one of the few places in my life where I can unwind and have me time…
If you saw me ordering at a restaurant, I would probably have the most unusual salad or appetizer on the menu…I love getting a couple of small things and sharing with whomever I am dining with… I grew up in the restaurant industry since I was 9 and have a palette for great quality and flavorful food.
If you caught me on my day off, I would probably be getting a pedicure, going to the beach, maybe indulging in a little shopping…ALONE!! Shopping with other people usually aggravates me…I need time, this way I find it somewhat therapeutic or relaxing…

- Went to an Estonian summer camp for 10 years until I was 16
- Bartended and cocktail waitressed to pay for university…graduated in 2002 with a BA from U of W
- Was a camp councellor for many years growing up
- Put on a crazy game of Capture the Flag for 75 of my closest friends
- Met Angelina Jolie on the set of Life or Something Like It…it was filming on the street I lived on in British Columbia
- Have an 11 year old blonde Chihuahua named Bambi
- Love going to concerts…first concert I ever went to was New Kids on the Block LOL!
