Hello!
One more day til the weekend!

MAPLE LEAF FOOD RECALL
From the wire this morn...
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is trying to determine if there's a link between Maple Leaf products and a nation-wide bacteria outbreak. At least one person is dead and 16 others have fallen ill from listeria in four provinces. Word of the outbreak comes amid a nationwide recall by Maple Leaf of 23 ready-to-eat meat products after the bacteria was found at a Toronto plant. Maple Leaf is also shutting down that plant through the weekend for comprehensive sanitization.

ANOTHER MEDAL!
Emilie Heymans captured a silver medal in 10-metre platform diving. The Montreal native was leading until China's Ruolin Chen turned in a near-perfect final dive to grab the gold medal.
Heymans' medal raises Canada's total to 14 -- two gold, seven silver and five bronze. That matches the total in Sydney eight years ago and is two better than Athens four years ago. Canada's high for a non-boycotted Games is 22 won in Atlanta in 1996.
Way to go Emilie!

Have a great day!
