I guess i've been hiding under a rock because I didn't know that these series of books were so HUGE! I heard the name "Stephanie Myer" from my boss a few weeks back and since then i've been seeing those "Twilight" books EVERYWHERE! So I did some research on the net and after talking to many Beat listeners, realized that this is the next BIG franchise similar to Harry Potter! The trailer for the movie opening November 21st just hit the net, and it looks pretty amazing! If you haven't seen it yet, check it out:

Beyonce is getting ready to release her 3rd solo album, "I Am" on November 18th. Apparently she recorded 60 to 70 songs for the album (only 10 made the cut), and 40 of them turned out to be about love! I wonder if those tracks will ever see the day of light? With so many tracks, she's got enough to make at least 6 more albums!

The first single release (and new to The Beat's play list), is called "If I Were A Boy" and is a GUARANTEE smash. Women all over will have this as their new ringtone because it's one of those anthems made strictly for the ladies. It's a very powerful ballad filled with emotion. The "official" video hasn't been released yet, but here's the song for you to enjoy if you haven't heard it yet.
