EARTH HOUR

On Saturday, people from cities around the world will be partcipating in Earth Hour, to make people aware about conserving energy. Major governments and companies are recognising the event by doing their part and you can too. You can join in by turning down or off your lights for 60 minutes, starting at 8PM.
THE BOYS OF SUMMER START MONDAY

Well, the weather is FINALLY starting to turn warmer. Another sign of Summer is baseball. Friday night, the Jays got a 3-1 win in an exhibition game in Philadelphia. However, Roy Halladay and the Toronto Blue Jays start the 2008 season on Monday afternoon at 1PM as the take on the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The Blue Jays are seen by many sports people as a "sleeper" team, meaning they have the chance to surprise other teams this season. All I ask is that this team STAYS HEALTHY!! PLEASE!! If they do, then I think they have a good chance. Remember, this team plays in the same division as the Yankees and the defending World Champion Boston Red Sox. I'm waiting for the first day they crack the roof open at Rogers Centre for a game. BRING ON THE HOT DOGS AND BEER!!
